THAI MASSAGE
Thai massage, also known as “Yoga for Two”, is a highly effective,
physical and relaxing massage that combines the Yoga/Stretch
techniques from India and meridian/Shiatsu techniques from China.
This treatment is effective because it stimulates the Sen (also called
the energy line) that flows through the body, starting from the toes.
In Thailand, where it originates, the standard duration of a traditional massage is 2 hours. During treatment, you will be in a light and
relaxed state, like being half-awake and half-asleep.
●Benefits●
-
Simulates physical activity for people who rarely exercise and who have desk jobs for work.
-
It helps people who use their muscles regularly from working or exercising to relax them through stretching.
-
It creates a relaxing effect for those who are stressed and mentally nervous.
-
It promotes circulation and blood flow in the body for people experiencing coldness or swelling.
WUOTAI
WUOTAI is a technique originated from France that is a fusion of “Osteopathy” from the West and the Zen concept from the East.
By performing slow and fine circular movements from the therapist’s side to the recipient’s body, it creates the sensation of the joints, muscles, and the fascia that encases the muscles to slowly unravel.
Even if your body feels stiff or has less flexibility, it is possible to receive the treatment in a comfortable position depending on your body’s tightness.
Similar to the traditional Thai massage, this treatment is highly relaxing, making you fall asleep easily.
Herb Steam Sauna
The Herb Steam Sauna is one of the procedures of YU-FAI, a traditional Thai postnatal treatment. In the olden days, this treatment was performed on women who have given birth, but now it is widely used by people to improve their health.
Blended with more than 10 different kinds of Thai herbs, it is simmered slowly inside a tent-like structure until the steam fills it like a sauna, letting you absorb the effects of the herbs via the skin and the respiratory system.
Because the temperature inside the sauna does not exceed 40 degrees Celsius, you can stay inside for a long time without feeling stuffy.
It varies from person to person, but after 15 to 20 minutes, the sweat begins to break out and will gradually change from a sticky salty sweat to watery, tasteless and odorless sweat.
